This year’s show was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had a grand total of 136 car entries, our First Annual “Stuff-A-Bug” was a true hit; with our winning team Team#3, stuffing an amazing 20 people into the bug!!! We’d also like to thank our Engine Blow Winner, Eric Spritzer. Eric graciously donated his Engine Blow winnings to Hospice of Health First. An additional ‘Thank You’ to everyone that participated in entering their cars and to the vendors that displayed their wares. Our sincerest appreciation to all our volunteers, club members, friends and family. Everyone worked hard, even in the unseasonably hot and humid weather.
An Extra Special Thank You to Our Sponsors
Your support helped make our show possible
Thank you to EVERYONE and hope to see you again for 2010!!

I am in the process of an engine overhaul in my 1970 autostick,so it wont be ready for the show, but i would love to attend.Would my(1999)new beetle be welcome to the show?
We welcome ALL Volkswagens!!
Is there anyone around here that has a bug adorned like Herbie? I am looking to hire for an event. Can’t wait for the 11th!
A quick video of the stuff a bug!
Great site, I’m disappointed that I found out about the show a week too late..
If anyone is looking for a bus to start as a restoration project, I have a 77 transporter with a 78’s Westy interior and a 78 fuel injected 2.0 in great shape listed on the Samba that I am trying to sell… it needs a battery and a fuel system cleaning due to being idle for 2+ yrs. Comes with LOADS of extras. I am in Orlando, and I have to sell due to a move I need to make to Melbourne.

This was my first year at “Volkstoberfest 11 ” and thought the show and cars were really great……..an outstanding VW Event.
I would like to make a comment on the class that I entered which was the Thing Class and while there were only three Things, I think next year you need to have stock vs. modified. Reason being that it is very difficult these days to maintain a 35 year old car as it came from factory and much easier to modify a vehicle to owners specs. The fact is that the Things that came in 2nd & 3rd place were stock vehicles copeting against the ” Gator Thing” which was fully modified …………………….I’m not being a sore loser but would like the judges to recognize & appreciate the work that it takes to maintain a vehicle in factory specifications.
The show was excellent and I plan to attend next year again.
Thank you
Ken
