Rockledge Gardens Event

HAPPY SPRING – Nice weather is finally here!!

Now is your chance to clean up your VW and drive to Rockledge Gardens on April 17.  We’re planning  a fun afternoon with our cars as well as the opportunity to walk around the Gardens and get ideas for cleaning up our yards from any winter damage.

DETAILS:

  • Time  – Arrive at Noon at the Private Room reserved for us.  (the YELLOW BUILDING where they hold their seminars).
  • Location:  Rockledge Gardens, 2153 S. US1, Rockledge.  (3 mi. south of 520, 1 mi. south of Barton Blvd, or 1 mi. north of Barnes Blvd.)  321-636-7662.
  • Please Bring – An appetizer or munchies to share and your own soft drinks. (paper products will be provided by the club)
  • Activities will include socializing, sharing information on VW news,  and taking photos for our website.
  • Meanwhile you can browse the Gardens and personnel  will be available to advise you on your garden concerns.***

***You could also have the opportunity to participate in the Saturday Seminar that Rockledge Gardens offer every Saturday morning 10:00-11:00.  On our VW Day, an Brevard County agricultural agent will host the seminar “9 Principles of Florida-Friendly landscaping”.  If you wish to participate in this seminar, please arrive at 10 and then stay for the VW meeting at noon. ***

You can read more about the seminars and what is available at the Gardens, by looking at their website:  http://www.rockledgegardens.com/

(they are a dog-friendly business as long as your pet is on a leash).

Should be a great afternoon with lots of various activities both inside and outside. They have a butterfly screen room area that is great for kids (and adults too).   It is also a great way to thank the owners of Rockledge Gardens, Theresa and Kevin Riley, for their many years of support of our club.  They have generously made donations and brought their “LADY BUG” to our Volkstoberfest Car Shows.

Please RSVP by sending an email to hartegans@cs.com or leaving a message at 757-0421.  This helps to  give us an idea as to how many cars we can expect.

Please remember to bring an appetizer to share and your own water or soft drinks (no alcohol allowed).
