WELCOME TO OUR 1st VOLKSTOBERFEST PRE-SHOW CRUISE!!

We will be departing from the Pavilion at approximately 4:15.

Below is the scheduled route:

1. START AT BCC/WHICKHAM PAVILLION
2. TURN RIGHT ON POST.
3. LEFT ON US 1.
4. RAMP RIGHT ONTO PINEDA EAST
5. RAMP ONTO TROPICAL TRAIL SOUTH.
6. LEFT ON PINETREE/BANANA RIVER EAST.
7. NORTH ON A1A
8. LEFT/WEST ON PINEDA 404            (  Arriving at Candlewood Suites,2930 Pineda Plaza Way )

Volkstoberfest 13 Update

Volkstoberfest 2011 is about 2 weeks away!

The Show is September 25 at the Main Wickham Park Pavilion.  Below is a glance of the some of the scheduled activities.

Thanks to all that have already sent their pre-registrations.  Below is a summary of activities for Saturday and Sunday.

If you haven’t mailed your pre-registration form, Please mail the form (attached) and your check to Cindy Amara, 1404 Delaware Ave., Malabar, FL  32950.

Please note that pre-registration forms must be postmarked by September 12^th.  Registrations received after the postmark of 9/12 will not receive a free show shirt or dash plague.

SATURDAY

• Pre-Show Cruise 4:30 pm and Cookout 5:30-8:30

Cruise:

New this year!  We will meet at the Main Wickham Park Pavilion at 4:00 pm.  Depart approximately 4:30 going across 2 causeways, along the beachside and to the host hotel, Candlewood Suites.

Cookout includes:

- Appetizers

- Choice of meat (hamburger, cheeseburger, brat or hot dog)

- Side dishes

- Dessert

- One free beverage (beer, soda or water)

-  Entries into raffles for each ticket purchased

Cost is $12 per person for the meal.

Extra beverages will be available.

• Camping and Hotel

VW Busses can camp overnight at the pavilion for a $10 donation.

Hotel accommodations at reduced rates are available at Candlewood Suites, 2930 Pineda Plaza Way.  $74.95+tax  (mention VW Show Rate)     321-821-9009.

SUNDAY:

• Gates open at 8:00 am for cars and 7:00 am for vendors
• Lunch sales will be available under the pavilion from 10:00-3:00
• Volkswagen displays from Prestige VW, Boston Lobster Feast & Geek Squad
• Bash-A-Car
• Stuff-A-Bug
• Kids Activities:  Hula Hoop Contest, Awesome Obstacle Course Jumper and Games/Prizes
• 2^nd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest.  Sponsored by Long Doggers Grill and Brew.  Open to the first 20 entries.  How many can you eat in 5 minutes?  Winner will receive $25 cash and a trophy.  Last year’s winner ate 10 hot dogs.
• Drawing, Prizes, and Trophies

Please note:  In order to speed up the judging process and have earlier trophy presentations, judging of your car will begin approximately one hour after your car has been registered.
